Mission
Honor Flight Austin is dedicated to honoring our veterans by providing free trips to Washington, D.C. so they can visit the memorials built to recognize their service and sacrifice. This journey is offered at no cost to the veteran as a small token of our deep gratitude for their courage and commitment.
Our mission is to ensure that every veteran has the opportunity to experience this powerful tribute in person. We prioritize World War II veterans living anywhere in Texas, along with Korean War and Vietnam War veterans residing in 14 Central Texas counties: Bastrop, Bell, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Gillespie, Gonzales, Hays, Lee, Llano, Milam, Travis, and Williamson.
These flights are more than just travel. They are a meaningful experience filled with reflection, connection, and honor. From takeoff to a hero’s welcome home, each trip is designed to show our veterans the respect and appreciation they deserve.
