HALO Electronics' 2.5G and 5G discrete Ethernet transformers are designed to meet or exceed the IEEE802.3bz standard. Additional terms that have been used for 2.5G/5G data rates include Multi-Gig, NBASE-T, and MGBASE-T. Available in standard and extended temperature ranges with or without PoE, PoE+, and 4P PoE. HALO's 2.5G and 5G transformers support 3-speed, 4-speed, and 5-speed backward compatibility with slower data rates. This series is footprint interchangeable with other HALO Gigabit and 10G transformers.
